Mark practices general commercial litigation with a focus on labor and employment law disputes. He has litigated commercial contract, real estate, family law, and employment-related disputes in both state and federal courts in Indiana. Mark also advises and represents creditors involved in bankruptcy proceedings. Mark's representations have included:

  • defending a restaurant franchisor in product liability and personal injury litigation;
  • defending an international heating and cooling business in a defamation lawsuit brought by its former employee;
  • representing a father and step-mother in a contested step-parent adoption through trial and appeal; and
  • defending a variety of national companies and local, family-owned businesses against employment discrimination claims in state and federal court.

While in law school, Mark worked for the Law Department for the City of Chicago and for a private law firm in Chicago. From September 2006 through January 2008, Mark practiced with a general civil litigation firm in South Bend. Mark joined LaDue Curran & Kuehn LLC in February 2008.

Mark is admitted to practice law in all Indiana federal and state courts and is a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, St. Joseph County Bar Association, and the Robert A. Grant Inn of Court. Mark also serves on the Board of Directors of St. Joseph County Big Brothers Big Sisters, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and guidance to children in need.

Mark was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. He earned a B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame in 2002. While at Notre Dame, Mark was captain of the Men's Boxing Team and participated in the Bengal Bouts Tournament, a fundraiser for the Congregation of Holy Cross mission in Bangladesh.

Mark earned a J.D. from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago in 2006. While at Loyola, Mark competed in the Evans Moot Court Competition in Madison, Wisconsin, as well as the Chicago Bar Association Moot Court Competition in Chicago, earning honors at both. Mark also earned the Mulroy Prize, which is awarded to Loyola's top student in Evidence.
